About Us
Welcome to the Albury Junior Badminton Club website. Based in Redhill,
Surrey; we run training sessions for three different levels (Beginners,
Improvers and Competitors), they are held every Saturday morning with
additional training sessions on Monday evenings. Details are:
Saturday Coaching Sessions
Beginners: 09.00 to 10.30
Improvers: 10.15 to 11.45
Competitors: 11.30 to 13.00

Membership Fee
£ 40 per term (10 sessions per term) if paid on or before the third session.
£ 50 per term if paid after the third session.
Pro rata fee for members who join half way through a term. Additional Monday Games Sessions
These sessions are designed for players to practice game-play; they are held every Monday evening throughout the year (apart from public holidays) at Oakwood Sports Centre in Horley (click here to view map) ; between 8.30pm and 10pm, £ 3 per session; players need to be at our Improvers or Competitors groups standard. These sessions are managed by Mr Martin Guare. Club Rules

All the coaches and your peers expect the following:
1. Winning at all costs is not encouraged; intimidation of other
players; use of foul and abusive language will not be tolerated;
2. No eating during training sessions (this includes chocolate and
crisps) and have breakfast early enough for the body to digest before
session start. Please bring enough water for replenishment;
3. Not to use mobile phones during training unless it is an emergency;
and
4. Be punctual and wear clothing that is comfortable and allows
freedom of movement (T-shirts, shorts/skirts, indoor trainers etc.).
Players wearing inappropriate clothing (denim jeans, football boots
etc.) will not be allowed to participate.
All coaches will continually review each player's progress and we will
advance players to the next group as soon as they are ready.
Although the majority of our players are from Redhill, Reigate,
Horley and Merstham, some of our players come from the wider areas
such as Kingswood, Burgh Heath, Epsom, Banstead, Coulsdon, Purley,
Croydon, Caterham, Crawley, Dorking etc. We welcome players from all
geographic locations.
